Predictions on Indonesia's 2024 Presidential Dispute Verdicts

The Constitutional Court (MK) is set to deliver its verdict on the 2024 presidential election dispute on Monday, Apr. 22. According to Constitutional Judge Enny Nurbainingsih, the examination session of the four ministers on Apr. 5 marked the final evidentiary hearing. Subsequently, the judges convened a deliberation meeting starting on Apr. 6 to discuss letters or documents, case substance, and finalize the verdict. "The meeting is conducted behind closed doors and must be attended by at least seven judges," Enny said after the final session.
She stated that the MK allows disputing parties to present conclusions. "It allows parties to present conclusions based on their observations throughout the process," she said. According to Enny, these conclusions must be submitted to the MK no later than Apr. 16. "The request for testimony has been completed, deemed sufficient due to the speedy trial," Enny added.
