Pertamina-VKTR Join Forces to Lead EV Ecosystem Development

PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR), a subsidiary of the Bakrie Group, has inked a collaboration agreement with PT Pertamina Power Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), to develop the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. Indah Permatasari Saugi, Head of Corporate Secretary at VKTR, stated that this agreement marks the initial step in a strategic partnership. "It's aimed at developing Mobility as a Service with PPI," she said on Mar. 20.

Pertamina Power is engaged in the electricity and renewable energy business, including developing EV and battery ecosystems. Indah mentioned that the agreement will positively impact VKTR's potential revenue and profit growth. "This agreement does not constitute a material transaction, nor does it involve affiliate transactions or conflicts of interest as defined in the capital market regulations," she added.
