PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia is set to embark on a significant venture by establishing a Mazda brand assembly plant in West Java. Eurokars serves as the sole distributor for Mazda in Indonesia, holding the prestigious position of authorized sole agent (ATPM). The construction of this facility signifies a new chapter in Eurokars' partnership with Mazda Motor Corporation. "We are honored to have been entrusted by Mazda Motor Corporation to establish an assembly hub in Indonesia," Ricky Thio, Managing Director of Eurokars Motor Indonesia, said on Mar. 13.

Eurokars has earmarked a budget of Rp 400 billion for the preparatory phases of this plant project. According to Ricky, the initial phase will focus on assembling a single model, with plans for expansion in the future. "The model will undoubtedly be a CX, but which one specifically we cannot disclose at this time," he stated. The CX designation refers to Mazda's range of sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and crossovers. Ricky emphasized the company's commitment to collaborating with local enterprises in the operation of this facility.
