Arifin Tasrif, the Energy and Mineral Resources Minister, inaugurated 12 high-ranking officials of the Energy Minister on Mar. 14. Among them was Eniya Listiani Dewi, who assumed the position of Director General of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE). Eniya previously served as a Senior Researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). "To the newly appointed Director General of EBTKE, I hope that the transition towards Net Zero Emission [NZE] energy continues to be developed," Arifin stated.

Arifin also urged the Director General of EBTKE to utilize affordable financing through the State Budget (APBN), non-APBN sources, and others to fund priority projects such as transmission infrastructure and renewable energy power plant projects to support industrial development. It will also expedite the completion of the New and Renewable Energy Bill, which is still stuck in parliament.
