Indonesia's government collaborates with several countries in developing modern transportation in the National Capital (IKN) Nusantara, with China and South Korea among its key partners. Mohammed Ali Berawi, Deputy for Green and Digital Transformation at the IKN Authority, revealed that the recently developed sky taxi, in collaboration with China, accommodates two passengers. "It successfully underwent trial phases in Curug, Tangerang, just last week," he noted.
Ali further disclosed that the upcoming sky taxi, a product of the partnership with South Korean giant Hyundai, boasts a maximum capacity of five passengers and incorporates intelligent transport system (ITS) technology. He emphasized the involvement of engineers and air transportation experts from PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) or PTDI in the project, highlighting PTDI's track record in manufacturing aircraft and helicopters ordered by numerous countries. "I've proposed to their board of directors that the IKN's scope encompasses various modes of transportation," Ali concluded
