JNE Potentially Acquiring AnterAja: Logistics Consolidation Heads On

PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir, popularly known as JNE, is reportedly set to acquire AnterAja, a courier company controlled by PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA). Mohamad Feriadi, President Director of JNE, openly acknowledges the potential for inorganic expansion. "We are actively exploring business opportunities that can be synergized," Bloomberg Technoz reported on Mar 7.
AnterAja is a logistics company under the umbrella of PT Tri Adi Bersama. Adi Sarana Armada holds the most shares in Tri Adi Bersama, with 49.50 percent ownership. PT Adi Dinamika Investindo, holding a 50.01 percent stake in ASSA, is controlled by prominent figures in the industry: Boy Thohir from the Adaro Energy Group and Theodore Permadi Rachmat from the Triputra Group. Another stakeholder is the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
