Gudang Garam to Lead Land and Air Connectivity in Southern East Java

The Public Works and Public Housing Ministry has unveiled plans for developing the Kediri-Tulungagung Toll Road with a staggering investment of Rp 9.92 trillion. PT Gudang Garam (Tbk) will spearhead this project to bolster inter-regional connectivity in East Java. In a letter dated Dec 14, 2023, the Indonesian government announced that the Gudang Garam group had established a Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) named PT Surya Sapta Agung Tol.
The concession agreement for the Kediri-Tulungagung toll road was signed on Feb 12. Public Works Minister Basuki Hadimuljono emphasized the strategic impact of this project on enhancing connectivity in East Java, linking the Trans Java Toll Road network with the national road along the South Coast. "This includes the areas from Mojokerto to Kediri," he stated.
