Kredivo Heats Up Digital Bank Competition: Fintech Trial to Level Up

The Kredivo Group has officially launched its digital banking service, Krom, operating under PT Krom Bank Indonesia Tbk. Anton Hermawan, President Director of PT Krom Bank Indonesia, stated that this digital service targets the younger generation by offering monthly fee-free credits. "The Krom app is fully digital, capable of handling account opening, deposits, and other transactions," he said on Feb 27.

Freshly launched, the bank swiftly accelerates by offering high deposit interest rates and waiving several service fees. Felicia Thenardy, Head of Marketing at PT Krom Bank Indonesia, mentioned that this digital banking service provides an 8.75 percent annual deposit interest rate. Krom also exempts transfer fees to other banks up to 30 times monthly and can be used for everyday expenses. "Krom boasts high flexibility," she added.
