Dissatisfied Contenders United to Bring Election Violations to Court
Head of the legal team of the Anies-Muhaimin ticket, Ari Yusuf Amir, currently said discussions with the legal team of the Ganjar-Mahfud MD team were ongoing to define strategies and share information regarding election violations that have been massively reported after the election day.
“We share the common ground, upholding justice and democracy,” Ari told a presser on Thursday, as quoted by Kompas.com.
Commenting on this, Deputy Chief of the Ganjar-Mahfud MD Election Team Andika Perkasa confirmed the collaboration between the two teams, highlighting that his team was still collecting more proof of violation from the field.
“We are still collecting proof from the field, as well as waiting for the KPU official announcement before filing a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court,” Andika said.
The KPU official result announcement is slated to be held on March 24.
