Foreign Intel Prefer Soft Approach Than Infiltration on RI’ Election

Some narratives on foreign intelligence agencies that try to infiltrate the upcoming General Elections and steer the election results in their way have been widely spread. Among them was Mardigu Wowik's theory, which was recently delivered on a political podcast, that right now, the world's two superpowers, China and the US, have their respective presidential candidates for the upcoming presidential elections.
According to Mardigu, China tends to favor the Prabowo-Gibran ticket thanks to Prabowo's leadership style, which tends to be authoritarian and resembles China's favorite leadership. But just in case Prabowo fails to reach the second round, China would likely back up the Ganjar-Mahfud MD due to PDI-P's socialistic taste of leadership.
The US, according to Mardigu, a psychologist who used to help the police in unveiling some terrorist investigations, tends to support the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar ticket, and these countries have been employing their intelligence arms to express their political support. Another country interested in Indonesia's General Elections is Singapore, Indonesia's top business investor. Singapore intends to see political and economic stability in its neighboring country, which could eventually impact its interest in keeping its investment safe here.
