Bakauheni Harbour City Opens New Investment Opportunities

PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry opened investment opportunities at the Bakauheni Harbour City project (BHC) in Lampung. ASDP Executive Director Ira Puspa Dewi said the BHC regional development would apply a similar model to what has been implemented in Labuan Bajo, West Nusa Tenggara.
Ira was optimistic that BHC would become the new economic hub in the South Lampung region. “The BHC development will be completed in 20 to 30 years and would spend Rp 4.5 trillion,” Ira said on Thursday.
BHC is one of the national strategic projects that connected the Lampung tourism region with the gate of Sumatra. Ira said the BHC development would be started from Siger Park, a cultural tourism and entrepreneurship region. The first stage of development of BHC has reached 100 percent, which comprised a mosque construction and several commercial areas.
The first stage of construction will be followed by the construction of a museum and amphitheater for concerts and other cultural shows.
