Indonesian Democracy Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said that it would still be possible for the party to discuss the vice-presidential candidate for Ganjar Pranowo outside the five figures who have been widely known by the public.

“Many surveys have delivered us multiple names. But there is still a chance for us to discuss the names who have not been under the pollsters’ radar,” Hasto said without further elaboration.

He said the discussion over new names was possible since the party would still also need to watch out for the social dynamics.

“There are some aspirations that are not considered by the pollsters. We need to dig that out,” Hasto as quoted by Kompas.com on Saturday.
