Fore Coffee: Brewing Up a Regional Expansion Plan

Fore Coffee, a food and beverage startup, is planning to launch its first overseas outlet in Singapore by the end of 2023.
The company chose Singapore as its first destination for expansion because of the high demand for coffee among the locals.
“They are heavy coffee drinkers, even more than Indonesians. They drink 6–7 cups of coffee every week,” Fore Coffee’s Chief Marketing Officer Matthew Ardian said on Sunday.
Fore Coffee also aims to expand to other Southeast Asian countries in the future. Currently, the company has 144 outlets in Indonesia and expects to increase that number to 170 outlets in the next few months.
Fore Coffee’s Chief Executive Officer Vico Lomar said the company will explore Eastern Indonesia, starting from Manado and Maluku.
In Java, Fore Coffee has already entered several districts, such as Purwokerto in Central Java. Fore Coffee relies on its own capital for expansion but is open to partnerships with strategic locations. “Anyone who has a good location can work with us.”
