Peruri to Lead Govtech Project
The Indonesian government has appointed the money printing entity Perum Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (Peruri) to lead a government technology (govtech) project overhauling the technology adoption at local and central government levels.
Peruri president director Dwina Septiani Wijaya claimed President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo had approved the assignment.
According to Dwina, Peruri is tasked to handle the digital government transformation as part of the Indonesia Digital Vision 2045, which includes the digital economy, government, society, and infrastructure developments. "Perhaps in the first five years, we will focus on corporate digital transformation. That is a role that requires even greater collaboration," she said.
