Chinese Retailer Hapimart Taps Indonesian Market
Chinese retailer Hapimart is expanding its presence in Indonesia with the opening of a new store at ITC Cempaka Mas, Central Jakarta.
Covering an impressive area of 11,000 square meters on the lower ground of ITC Cempaka Mas, Hapimart will offer a wide range of groceries, fresh products, and household appliances. “The fitting-out process will be completed by the end of 2023, with operations set to commence in 2024,” Hapimart Indonesia Chairman Wang Qifang said.
Division Head of ITC Group Sinar Mas Land Agnes Fariati Sukiono said Hapimart joins the diverse lineup of tenants at ITC Cempaka Mas. "We hope that the new retailer will attract a larger number of visitors to ITC Cempaka Mas, enhancing the shopping experience," Agnes said.
Currently, ITC Cempaka Mas has eight floors of shopping centers and seven floors of offices that house various tenants, including Mr. DIY, Samsung Store, and several food and beverage companies.
