MITI, Sany, and EFL to Develop Solar Plants in Eastern Indonesia

On Friday, PT Mitra Investindo Tbk (MITI), Sany South East Asia Ltd, and Emas Fortuna Ltd (EFL) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore business opportunities in the solar energy sector.

Mitra Investindo president director Andreas Tjahjadi revealed the company's plan to follow up the agreement with a feasibility study for the next 12 months.

"As far as we know, electricity supplies in Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, and Papua are still lacking. So, [developing electricity there] is one of the opportunities that we can focus on," he said.
