Venture capital Antler has recently appointed Agung Bezharie Hadinegoro as the partner responsible for overseeing the investment strategy and operations in Indonesia.

In a statement released on Thursday, Antler management emphasized that Agung's appointment reflects the firm's commitment to supporting early-stage startups, with a goal of investing in over 30 Indonesian companies by 2023.

Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Asia Antler Jussi Salovaara said Agung brings to the table extensive experience of more than a decade in working with multiple startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.

Notably, he is recognized as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Warung Pintar. "Agung's profound understanding of the startup ecosystem, coupled with his passion for technology-driven solutions, perfectly aligns with our mission," Jussi added.
