eFishery Reels in US$20 Mln Funding from ADQ

Indonesian agritech startup eFishery has received more funding. DealStreetAsia reported on Jun 28 that the sovereign wealth fund from the United Arab Emirates, ADQ, invested US$20 million as part of eFishery’s Series D funding.

The information came from the Singapore Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA); no further details were available.

eFishery’s Series D funding was first announced in early May 2023. The Bandung-based startup raised US$108 million from several investors, including the G42 Global Expansion Fund, Northstar Group, and Softbank Vision Fund.

G42 contributed US$100 million, while Northstar and Softbank put in US$5 million and US$3 million, respectively. eFishery became a unicorn or a US$1 billion startup through this Series D funding.
