Pusri Resumes Construction of Fertilizer Plant III-B

Summary

PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Palembang, a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia, will resume the construction of Pusri's III-B plant, one of its investment projects.

PT Pusri President Director Tri Wahyudi Saleh said preparations for the plant construction had been underway since last year. However, due to the centralization of Pupuk Indonesia Holdings, the auction process has been delayed. "We are still prioritizing the investment in the III-B plant," Tri said.

This plant is a revitalization of Pusri III and IV fertilizer plants and will have a daily production capacity of 1,750 tons of urea and ammonia fertilizer. Plant III B construction funding will be provided by a syndicated loan from seven to eight banks.
