Archi Indonesia to Focus on Gold Underground Mining

PT Archi Indonesia Tbk (ARCI) plans to undertake underground mining within its concession area in North Sulawesi. This initiative will position ARCI among the gold mining companies concurrently implementing open pit and underground mining.

Archi Indonesia President Director Rudy Suhendra said that previously the company primarily focused on open-pit mining. However, extensive drilling data collected since 2019 has revealed significant potential for underground mining.

"At present, we have enlisted an underground project and have held discussions with a renowned contractor specializing in underground mining. We aim to commence this project by the end of the year," Rudy said on Monday.
