Paradise Indonesia to Build Rp 850-Billion Shopping Mall in Semarang
PT Indonesia Paradise Property Tbk (INPP) or Paradise Indonesia plans to start Rp 850 billion mixed-use development in Semarang, Central Java, in the third quarter of 2023.
"This project is the result of a joint venture with Binus [Bina Nusantara], which will take about two to three years," Paradise Indonesia president director Anthony Prabowo Susilo said in Jakarta on Thursday. The project will include the construction of modern retail, hotel, and residential buildings.
Based on the company's public expose materials, it will build two new malls in Semarang, Central Java, and Makassar, South Sulawesi. The first one will be located near the Marina Beach, a popular tourist attraction frequently visited by residents for family holidays.
Meanwhile, the one in Makassar will be strategically located in Tanjung Bunga, which is also close to several tourist attractions. Sitting on a 70,000-square-meter area, it will be one of the largest malls in the city.
