PGN No Longer Involved in PLN's Plant Conversion

Summary

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) is no longer involved in providing gas supply and required infrastructure for the diesel fuel-to-gas plant conversion carried out by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).

For the record, the central government previously assigned the subsidiary of PT Pertamina to handle the tasks.

PGN infrastructure and technology director Achmad Muctasyar said that PGAS was currently focusing on Pertamina Group's own conversion program, targeting the group's refineries' gasification.

"The government has informed us, [the diesel fuel-to-gas plant conversion] has been directly assigned to PLN," he said on Tuesday.
