Eight Candidates Advance to 4th Round of OJK Commissioner Selection

The 2023–2028 OJK commissioner selection committee has announced eight candidates who have passed the third round of selection consisting of medical assessment and examination. Selection committee head Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that afterward, they would participate in the fourth round of selection focusing on affirmations or interviews.
For the record, before the third phase, these candidates went through two phases: the administrative screening, which qualified 45 people, and the evaluation phase, which factored in people's opinions, candidates' track records, and papers and passed 19 people in the process. "The Selection Committee's decision is final, binding, and cannot be contested," she said Saturday.
These eight candidates are competing for two new positions on the OJK Board of Commissioners as stipulated in Law No. 4/2023 on the Financial Sector Development and Strengthening (P2SK). These two new positions are Chief Executive Supervisory of Financing Institutions, Venture Capital Firms, Microfinance, and other Financial Services Institutions; and the Chief Executive Supervisory of Financial Sector Technology Innovation (ITSK), Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto-Assets.
