Hutama Karya to Take Over Bocimi Toll Road from Waskita

The Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Ministry stated that PT Hutama Karya would help complete the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) toll road project, previously handled by PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT). It was revealed after the Finance Ministry decided to postpone state capital injection (PMN) to Waskita.

Additionally, the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Ministry will take care of the takeover by Hutama Karya. "Hutama Karya will assist the Bocimi Toll Road project. Just corporate action, it will be business to business for them," Highways Director General Hedy Rahadian said on Thursday.

However, Hedy emphasized that this would only apply to the Bocimi Toll Road, and Waskita would still work on other toll road projects. Hutama Karya will help continue and complete the toll road's construction. In the meantime, the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) is still evaluating the project.
