Waringin, Ibis Group Aim for Hotel Expansion in Madiun
Waringin Hospitality Hotel Group and Ibis Group announced their plans to construct star hotels in Madiun City, East Java, with a combined investment estimated at Rp 300 billion.
“PT Waringin Hospitality, in collaboration with Luminor Hotel, and PT Bumi Sukses Jaya, in collaboration with Ibis Hotel, have already completed the necessary procedures and entered the online single submission (OSS) system as investors. Both hotels are classified as star-rated accommodations,” Investment Coordinator of the Madiun City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) Nuning Udayanah Nurfiati said.
The Luminor Hotel will be built at the site currently occupied by Transmart on Jalan S. Parman in Madiun City. As the contract for Transmart at that location has expired, the Luminor Hotel project, with an investment value of Rp 150 billion, will take its place.
Similarly, Ibis Hotel will be constructed on Jalan Agus Salim, near the Madiun City Square area. This three-star hotel project is expected to require Rp 151 billion in investment.
