Silver Skyline to Build Shoes Factory in Garut

This information was disclosed during a meeting last week between PT Silver Skyline and the Garut Regency Government representatives.

Head of the Garut One-Stop Integrated Licensing Investment Office (DPMPTSP) Wahyudijaya said that PT Silver Skyline Indonesia had expressed a long-standing interest in investing in Garut Regency. The company has submitted several license applications but has encountered regulatory obstacles related to the energy sector. "While they are currently in the physical construction stage, we are still working on addressing the regulatory issues," Wahyudijaya said.

Regent Rudy approved PT Silver Skyline's plan, emphasizing that it will generate employment opportunities for 5,000-6,000 individuals. Additionally, the company will make contributions through local tax levies.
