Pasadena Biofuels Commences First Biogas Power Plant Operation in Riau

PT Pasadena Biofuels Mandiri has officially commenced commercial operations of the Ujung Batu Biogas Power Plant (PLTBg), located in Sukadamai Village, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The 3x1 Megawatt (MW) plant is the first independent power producer of biogas power plants in Riau Province and is owned by the Biodena Energy Group, which focuses on renewable energy and reducing carbon emissions.

Pasadena Biofuels is the first independent power plant producer in Riau Province and is part of the Biodena Energy Group, which focuses on renewable energy and efforts to reduce carbon emissions. President Director Edmond Widjaja said that Biodena Energy Group is committed to supporting PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in increasing the green energy mix in Indonesia.

"We are proud to have reached the COD of the Ujung Batu PLTBg. We hope this PLTBg will contribute to increasing the share of clean energy in the country, thereby helping to achieve the government's target of reaching net zero emissions," he said on Thursday.
