Saturdays Secures Funding from Genesis Alternative Ventures

Direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion startup Saturdays has secured venture debt funding from Genesis Alternative Ventures, paving the way for its expansion in Indonesia. Co-Founder Rama Suparta said the brand has already established 45 stores across 11 cities, including Greater Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Palembang, Makassar, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, and Batam.

Saturdays also opened a lifestyle outlet at Central Park Mall in Jakarta. It has collaborated with prominent brands such as Marvel and Indomie. “We seek funding from various sources and partners with institutions that share its values and can offer complementary skills, knowledge, and resources,” Rama said, as quoted by Daily Social, Monday.
