Zi.Care Raises New Funding for Medical Digitalization

Health tech startup Zi.Care secured US$2 million in a Series A funding round from Singapore-based Oriza Greenwillow Technology Fund. The company aims to raise a total of US$3 million in this funding round. "This investment will allow Zi.Care to increase the digitalization of the health sector following the COVID-19 pandemic,"  Zi.Care Chief Executive Officer Jessy Abdurrahman said on Friday.

Several other venture capital firms will also be participating in this Series A funding round, in addition to Oriza Greenwillow. Oriza Greenwillow Managing Partner Loh Wai Keong said that the electronic medical record (EMR) solution that Zi developed.Care has enormous growth potential in Indonesia's healthcare industry. "It is essential for the digitalization of public health services for medical professionals and patients," he added.
