LG Comes up with a List of EV Battery Consortium New Members

LG Energy Solution has submitted the composition of its new consortium members to continue their joint venture with Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC) on the integrated electric battery project this year.

Deputy I SOEs Minister Pahala Mansury said that the ministry has received the consortium member list after a delay from the government's requested deadline. "They have proposed the consortium concept," Pahala said on Thursday.

However, the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry is still in discussion with LG about the investment plans in the electric battery ecosystem in Indonesia, which includes integration from upstream to downstream.
