Tripatra, HDF Energy to Establish Hydrogen-to-Power Infrastructure

Indonesian company PT Tripatra Engineering, providing engineering-based solutions in the energy and downstream sectors, inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT HDF Energy Indonesia, the subsidiary of hydrogen power plant pioneer HDF Energy, on March 21.

They will develop a multi-MW fuel cell power plant HyPower (hydrogen-to-power), in the country as part of the decarbonization efforts of the chemical industry sector.

"Our collaboration with Tripatra Engineering is a first step to materialize our HyPower projects in the chemical industry sector. Tripatra Engineering has 50 years of experience throughout the energy value chain in Indonesia. Our collaboration could pioneer new applications in the industry and help Indonesia become a leader in green hydrogen projects in Asia," PT HDF Energy Indonesia director Mathieu Geze revealed.
