Summary

Jagofon, a used gadget marketplace, received US$150,000 in initial funding from Orbit Startups, an early-stage startup development program from US venture capital firm SOSV. Jagofon founder, Stéphane Becquart, said the budget was to encourage business growth and strengthen the Jagofon team.

"We will continue to add products outside smartphones and encourage Jagofon's presence on various channels, including on social media," Becquart said as quoted by DailySocial, Monday. Jagofon received initial funding and an incentive program to support growth and fundraising.

Jagofon raised financing in 2021 and 2022, totaling US$254,000 and US$549,000, respectively. Individual investors provided this financing, including Gojek Chief Marketing Officer Antoine de Carbonnel and Bak2 Group CEO Gregoire Dumoulin.
