Summary

Three investors plan to take over an internationally standardized fish processing plant in Santong Bay, Sumbawa Regency, previously managed by PT Bali Seafood International (BSI), a subsidiary of North Atlantic Inc, a seafood supplier based in Portland, United States.

"Many are interested, especially since the provincial government has terminated the contract with BSI," West Nusa Tenggara Investment and One-Stop Services Agency (DPMPTSP) head Muhammad Rum said.

Rum revealed that two of them, from Jakarta and Italy, were in talks with the agency, while the other inquired about the plant's availability. He estimated the fish processing plant to cost hundreds of billions of rupiah. "The plant already exists. It only needs the machines," he said.
