Summary

Foodtech startup Mangkokku is trying to raise US$20 million in a Series B funding round. Mangkokku CEO Randy Julius Kartadinata revealed the company's plan to use the proceeds to expand aggressively.

"Once the funding round is over, we aim to have 200 outlets by 2024," he told DealstreetAsia.

Meanwhile, Mangkokku Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ritchie Goenawan suggested the funding round would allow the company to implement new strategies considering that the people's consumption levels have gone back to normal.

"At the moment, we already have an adequate expansion plan to develop the business further. We intend to increase the number of Mangkokku outlets because our main focus is growing dine-in retail," he said.
