Blitar Regency, East Java, is set to house a new wind power plant soon. PT Envision Group Indonesia, a subsidiary of Envision AESC Group, a prominent battery technology company from China, has expressed interest in constructing the plant in the regency.

Head of Blitar Regency's Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPM PTSP) Agus Santosa confirmed the presence of a foreign investor from China who has plans to develop a wind farm. Agus added that the Chinese investor recently met with Blitar Regent Rini Syarifah to discuss the project.
