Nica Nickel to Build Smelter in Central Sulawesi

PT Stardust Estate Investment (SEI) nickel industrial area, located in the North Morowali Regency of Central Sulawesi, will soon welcome a new investor, Nica Nickel Indonesia (NNI), who plans to build 26 nickel ore processing furnaces.

PT SEI Deputy Site Manager Yanto said the investment process is still underway.

PT SEI's nickel industrial area will have two smelter investors if NNI commences operations. PT Gunbuster Nickel Industry (GNI) operates in the industrial area, constructing 25 nickel processing furnaces.

Along with NNI, another investor will enter the industrial area, although they will not be involved in nickel processing. This investor will be responsible for port management (jetty).
