Pertamina NRE, Tepco to Work on Green Hydrogen

PT Pertamina Power Indonesia (Pertamina NRE) and Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Incorporated (Tepco HD) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Friday to develop green hydrogen and green ammonia.

The MoU encompasses verification surveys, hydrogen production areas joint selection, market segment identification, and market development.

With this joint agreement, both companies aim to develop cost-efficient green hydrogen and ammonia. "We believe that this collaboration will create significant value, particularly in energy transition and decarbonization efforts," Pertamina NRE CEO Dannif Danusaputro stated.
