Alchemy Pay, a gateway platform for crypto transactions, secured an operating license from Bank Indonesia (BI). The Singapore-based company also partners with local fintech PT Berkah Digital Payments or BDPay for remittances and fund transfers.

"The license from Bank Indonesia will greatly increase the ability of these entities to payout to end users and clients across Asia," Alchemy Pay's statement on Tuesday reads.

Alchemy Pay is known for its on-off ramp services, crypto payments, and NFT checkouts to the Web3 platform. Founded in 2018, the platform allows using various credit cards and payment systems to purchase crypto assets quickly.

Many Web3 platforms and cryptocurrency token issuers have integrated this payment solution.
