Google, Meratus Line to Build Maritime Logistics Superapp

Google Cloud is working with shipping company Meratus Line to build a maritime logistics system. This collaboration also involves PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL), which will embed artificial intelligence into the app's operations. "This app is expected to support Indonesia in becoming the world's maritime and logistics center," Google Cloud Indonesia and Malaysia director Megawaty Khie said on Tuesday.

Meratus Line CEO Farid Belbouab claimed this app would expand logistics distribution services. Meratus, Google Cloud, and Metrodata are working hard to create various innovative features, such as a simple yet informative interface.
