Princeton Digital Group (PDG) will invest US$1 billion to build new data centers in Asia. These new facilities will be located in Batam, Riau Islands, and Johor, Malaysia, close to Singapore, where the company is based. PDG chairman and CEO Rangu Salgame revealed that the 96-megawatt data center in Batam would sit on a 15-acre land with four buildings.

PDG refers to its expansion as the SG+ strategy, which expands infrastructure from Singapore to several nearby areas. "The SG+ strategy is aimed at providing a roadmap for infrastructure growth," Salgame said on Monday. He stated that the PDG data center in Batam will cement its presence in Asia.
