Nusantara Project Goes Ahead without Foreign, Private Investors
Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko revealed that infrastructure development in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, had gone according to the plan. He was confident that, at the current rate, the infrastructure would be ready in no time. "The task force's head informed me that the construction was 15 percent complete already," he said while visiting the construction site with Presidential Office first deputy Febry Calvin Tetelepta and Nusantara Infrastructure Development Task Force head Danis Sumadilaga on Thursday.
According to the official press release, Moeldoko particularly observed the construction of the new presidential palace and ministry offices from the Palace Viewpoint. He said that, despite poor weather, the IKN infrastructure construction had gone according to the plan and schedule.
