Jeju Air Eyes New Business Opportunities in Indonesia

Jeju Air Co, the largest low-cost carrier in South Korea, is teaming up with Indonesian state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I to develop flight routes from South Korea to Indonesia. Angkasa Pura I president director Faik Fahmi revealed that this collaboration would allow the exchange of data and information on tourism, marketing, and supporting activities with regulators and stakeholders.

"The opening of South Korea-Indonesia flights is an effort to develop tourism and creative economy in both countries," he said on Tuesday. Jeju Air signed a memorandum of understanding with Angkasa Pura I to develop new routes from Incheon to Bali and Batam. Jeju Air is also exploring tourism business opportunities in Indonesia.
