Govt Kicks Off Development for West Kampar and Central Jabung Blocks

The Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry officially awarded West Kampar Working Area management rights to PT Aserra Petrolindo Gemilang and PT SPR Langgak and Central Jabung Working Area to PT Raharja Energi Sentosa and PT Cipta Niaga Gemilang after signing production sharing contracts on Wednesday.

"We hope that through activities in these working areas, oil and gas reserves and production can increase sustainably and support the production target that has been set," Director General of Oil and Gas Tutuka Ariadji said after signing the production sharing contracts for the two blocks on Wednesday. Before signing the contract, contractors have completed all administrative and financial obligations, including signature bonuses payment and implementation guarantees submission.
