JD.ID to Shut Down Its Logistic Business
JD.ID will shut down its JDL Express Indonesia operations. According to the JD.ID website, the closure of JDL Express Indonesia will be on Jan 22. JDL Express has stopped accepting new user registrations since Jan 1. However, JD.ID management has yet to respond.
JDL Express, previously J-Express, has 11 warehouses and 250 drop points. The company employs more than 3,000 couriers. JDL Express Chief Executive Officer Barry Lim said JDL Express was under JD.com and fully supported by JD Logistics. JDL Express Indonesia will develop logistics provider services by improving access and services for online business owners and corporations.
