Astra International to Work on JORR 3 Toll Road

The Astra International Group will build the Sentul Selatan-West Karawang toll road, part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 3 project, worth Rp 15.73 trillion in 2023. The Astra Group takes part in the project through PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) subsidiary PT Pama Persada Nusantara, a heavy equipment company whose majority shares are owned by PT Astra International Tbk (ASII).

In the toll road concession tender held by the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Public Works and Housing Ministry in 2022, Pama Persada won the project through its subsidiary PT Persada Utama Infra, which then formed a consortium with PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR), PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI), and PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur. Previously, BPJT head Danang Parikesit said the South Sentul-West Karawang section would be the final piece of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 3 network.
