Imajin's New Funding Opens Up Chances for Manufacturing Hub Startup

Imajin raised US$809,000 in seed funding from several investors led by Init-6. The funding for Imajin also came from East Ventures, 500 Southeast Asia (Fund III), Kao Kele Pte Ltd, and angel investors such as Jessica Hendrawidjaja (Chief Marketing Officer of Shipper) and Tsuda Yumi, Daily Social reported. However, Imajin Co-Founder Chendy Jaya did not want to comment on this funding.
In July 2022, Imajin also obtained pre-seed funding from Init-6 with an undisclosed amount. At that time, Chendy Jaya said the funding would be used to digitize the manufacturing industry through new product development and market expansion. Meanwhile, Rexi Christoper, Venture Partner of Init-6, said Imajin would have a significant role in revolutionizing the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. The growth of the manufacturing industry will be faster thanks to the adoption of new technologies. "Imajin will make industries in Indonesia more competitive in the global market," he said.
