Qoala Becomes Indonesia's Biggest-Funded Insurtech

Indonesian insurtech startup Qoala has just raised US$5.42 million in an additional, extended Series B funding round. Referring to Singapore's Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) data, US$4 million of the fresh funds came from investment firm Responsibility, US$920,000 from Eurazeo, and US$500,000 from Indogen Capital. DealStreetAsia reported on Wednesday that Qoala also plans to raise another US$4.58 million in its Series B1 funding round.
