Indico Invests in Fitness Startup Fita

Healthtech startup Fita has secured US$1.9 million in funding from Indonesia Digital Ecosystem (Indico), a subsidiary of Telkomsel. Fita CEO Reynazran Royono planned to use the proceeds for the development of priority products focusing on not only users but also professional coaches through supporting features.

The company provides two products: the Fita app for users and the CATCH (Coach at the Center of Health) platform for professional coaches. Reynazran also revealed that the company has been carrying out various collaborative activities with certified trainers and health and nutrition education. "It turns out that people's desire to live a healthy life is very high, as seen from the growth of Fita users. Now, there are 350,000 active users every month," Reynazran said on Wednesday.
