Summary

Singapore-based first-mile logistics startup Haulio acquired the Indonesian logistics platform Logol for an undisclosed fee. As a result, Haulio officially became the controlling shareholder of Logol. The acquisition will strengthen Haulio's position in Indonesia and increase the number of services the company offers.

Initially focusing on providing shipping solutions, Haulio now provides an integrated logistics platform for ports, depots, and container terminals developed by Logol. Haulio started its expansion outside of Singapore in 2021 by operating in Indonesia and Thailand. The company claims to have a vast network of 800 trucking and freight companies and 10 thousand first-mile vehicle fleets. "We strongly believe that acquiring Logol will accelerate our growth and increase our regional fleet by 2,000 first-mile vehicles," Haulio Co-founder and CEO Alvin Ea said in a written statement on Wednesday.
