GOTO Readies Gopay Spinoff to Ramp Up Profits

PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) is currently conducting a limited trial for the Gopay app, following the plan to spin off the platform. "Currently, we are still in the testing phase of the Gopay app for selected users," GoTo Financial head of corporate communications Alina Darmadi said in an official statement on Friday.

Gopay will send an email with the keyword 'TestFlight' from Gopaybetadownload@Gopay.co.id. According to its official website, the message contains a guide to download and install the beta version of the Gopay app directly. During the trial phase, customers can continue to access Gopay services through the Gojek app. Gopay is part of the payment service in the GoTo Financial ecosystem.
